Jen wanted to drink a porter year-round. She noticed that in the summer, breweries typically only had one dark beer on tap, a bourbon barrel-aged stout with a really high ABV.⁠ ⁠Jen wanted a flavorful, dark beer with a lower ABV. Something approachable, not heavy or boozy. So, she and Mike created one!⁠ ⁠ At 5% ABV, it’s rich but easy-drinking, brewed with English pale malt, flaked oats, chocolate and caramel malts, then conditioned on real chocolate and orange. Think Terry’s Chocolate Orange in a glass.⁠ ⁠ Stop in and taste Jen's Porter this week!

We teamed up with Pittsburgh’s own ultimate frisbee team @pghthunderbirds to bring you a beer that’s crisp and bold.⁠ ⁠ This West Coast Pilsner (5.7%) is brewed with Pilsner malt and hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrueh, then dry hopped with Simcoe, Strata, and Krush for a punch of flavor. Expect notes of crackery malt, bright berries, warm citrus, and a nostalgic Dole fruit cocktail vibe—all wrapped up in a clean, crisp finish.⁠ ⁠ The official launch of our collab beer with @pghthunderbirds will be this Thursday, April 24th from 6-8pm in the taproom. Steel Hearted, our West Coast IPA is BACK. It’s *finally* warming up out there which means it’s beer fishing off the Two Frays roof season for Mike and Liz! Obviously! It also means the road construction in Garfield continues. 😐 Our Steel Hearted beer is a take on a classic IPA you know and love.⁠ Brewed with American pale and caramel malts, and hopped exclusively with Centennial, this beer brings bold notes of fresh bread, citrus, pine, and a punch of grapefruit. It’s familiar yet distinctly Two Frays 🎣⁠

Have you tried a pint of Fluffy Beast yet? This non-alcoholic hazy is brewed with pale malt, wheat, and oats, then hopped with El Dorado, Mosaic, and Citra for a juicy burst of flavor. Expect notes of bready malt, mango, ripe blueberries, and fresh-cut grapefruit. ⁠ ⁠ In 2022, we brewed our first non-alcoholic beer, which furthered our mission of having "something for everyone".⁠ ⁠ And thus, Pittsburgh's Original Non-Alchoholic Beer was born! We're so proud to always have at least a few non-alc brews on the menu and to host our monthly Mod Mondays.
